How not to use a melon baller

honeydew and cantaloupe "balls"

Turns out melons aren't like ice cream at all and that's what happens when you try to scoop it like it's ice cream. Oh well, lesson learned. Just remember, press and twist, press and twist. But it's ok, everyone loves eating their fruit with a spoon right? ....well probably not but it still tastes ok!

Fruitti Mix

black milk tea with tapioca/"original"

...and that was the best picture I took out of 3 attempts. Probably my own fault for not remembering to take a picture while sitting down so I had to do this while walking which proved rather difficult.

But anyway, Fruitti Mix is located in the First Markham Place food court and what I like to call value bubble tea. 1 for $2.50 or 2 for $4.50 ($2.25 each!), bubble tea doesn't get much cheaper than that. Pretty much the standard powdered stuff and average sizes. I mean sure maybe the tapioca is a bit small and kind of chewy and has a slight funny taste to it and it could be colder.....but hey, it's $2.25! I'm not complaining...ok maybe just a little bit but that still won't stop me from getting it.

So if you like your bubble tea with quality tapioca and real fruit juices stay away but if you're as cheap as I am and don't mind their tapioca tasting a bit off I say enjoy your $2.25 bubble tea!

Welcome to My Crappy Food Blog

Covering the GTA and updated whenever I remember to take a picture before I start eating (which unfortunately doesn't happen very often and a picture of an empty plate isn't very helpful)

But anyway, what to expect:
1. Terrible pictures? Check
2. Terribly written? Check
3. Terrible opinions? Somehow yes
4. Updated infrequently? Check
5. Questionable hygiene? Oh boy you bet

Oh well I don't expect people to be interested in me eating at some random Chinese dive in Scarborough anyway, but at least I can look back on this in a few years and be like what the hell was I thinking back then.
